MOD sought to reduce the cost of ownership of its helicopters.
To address this they required a detailed and consistent understanding of the costs of ownership of the rotorcraft fleet. Implicit in this requirement was an identification of the significant cost drivers.
Working with a number of key MOD and industrial stakeholders, Arke developed a consistent approach to identifying and measuring the costs of ownership across the helicopter fleet which could be both understood and supported by all participants. The results of this work and the information prodcued were used in developing a strategy that identified practical opportunities in reducing costs of ownership.« Cost of open systems architectures Maritime Intra-theatre Lift »
