Cost Model Validation
The Arke UNION cost model has been verified and validated by MoDs Cost Assurance and Analysis Service (CAAS) department. The CAAS final report concludes "I am therefore, able to conclude that the ARKE Union Model Version 1.6 continues to be well conceived and constructed and is fit for purpose."
Office of Goverment Commerce Major Projects Review Group
In October, Arke were invited to attend the MPRG interview by the FSC project manager and provided support in addressing the review groups questions on matters of deliverability, affordability and value for money offered by the FSC project.
BAE Systems Chairmans Award
Arke has received a Chairmans Awards for "FSC Joint Cost Model". This award recognises the contribution of the Arke developed joint cost model in its role of providing a vehicle by which both customer and supplier could understand and examine FSC programme costs and implications. The model has been used to underpin MoDs initial gate business case, and BAE Systems corporate governance processes.
